EarnMyLicense exists for one reason: nobody should fail a driving test — and pay to take it again — because they could not practise properly for free.
How our tests are made
Every question on this site is an original practice question written by us from the official driver handbook of the province or state it covers — the same rules, limits, signs and penalties the real test examines. Real government test questions are never published, and we never copy them; instead we teach the underlying facts so you can answer any version of the question on test day.
How the site stays free
Practice tests and exam simulators are free, with no account. The site is supported by advertising and, soon, an optional paid Pass Guarantee tier for people who want the full program. The free tests will always stay free.
Not a government site
EarnMyLicense is an independent practice resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government licensing authority — including the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and DriveTest, the California Department of Motor Vehicles, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, or the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. Government names and handbook titles are used only to identify the official publications our questions are based on. For official rules, fees and booking, always use your jurisdiction's official website and current driver handbook.
